Kyou Yokohoma e ita no yo~~~

Yeah so the title means: "Today I went to Yokohama~~~"

Today I hung out with that guy names Seiji that I met the other night. He took me to Yokohama which was really nice. Yokohama is right on the ocean, so the smell of the ocean and fresh air was really nice. We did a lot today... We got to Yokohama at around 8:3o a.m. We then waited in line to buy tickets for a movie. He took me to go and see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That movie was awesome by the way!! I loved the new Willy Wonka.. he was hilarious. The movie was in English with Japanese subtitles, so I was able to understand everything really well. Unfortunately, I was the only American, and the only one who could understand the jokes. So I laughed by myself through pretty much the entire movie.

Then Seiji and I walked around and just chatted. IT was really great because he only speaks about four words of English, so I really got to use my Japanese a lot. I'm getting better I think.. Anyway, he's a pretty cool guy. I hope we become even better friends. After our walk, we got on the famous Yokohama ferris wheel. Seriously that ferris wheel has to be like 20 stories high. It's huge!!! Here are some pictures of the view from the top:

After the ferris wheel we went on another walk and then decided to get on the paddle boats. That was fun except for the fact that giant carp kept flopping out of the water and I was afraid one would flop into our boat. Yokohama was really great though cause I could use a lot of Japanese...

Here is a pic of Seiji and I at the little theme park in Yokohama:

After I got home from Yokohama, I left soon after to go to Shibuya again with Sarah, Daniel, and Kylee. Only this time, we went there to meet Sarah's old conversation partner from Madison. His name is Yuichi. We met Yuichi and went to get something to eat. Japanese food is soo marvellous.. lol

Afterward, we went to Baskin Robbins!! YESSS!!! I <3>

We were all still pretty tired from a combination of our string of late nights and from walking around everywhere, so we decided to come home early. Then I decided to update my blog for the past three days. lol It's taken me almost 2 hours! ha ha ha

Anyway, tomorrow is a JApanese national holiday, so not much will be open. I'm going to do my laundry during the day and then Sarah and Kylee and most likely Daniel and I will be heading out to Harajuku tomorrow night. That should make for some interesting pictures.

In closing I will leave you with a bit of British slang:

"Look at 'im... givin' them all the lemons..."

See if you can guess what that means... I'll let ya know in a later post...

"EVELYBODY... SCLEAM!!!!!!!!" ha ha ha
