Soooo tired... mmmmmmm BBQ in the Jungle
Sooo yeah.... Staying out until 7 in the morning is real ruff when you wanna have a full and fun day with your friends!!
I'm a trooper!!! Today I went to a barbeque that my friend Yuka and her family were throwing in honor of Sarah and I coming to JApan. Yuka's family is sooo sweet and they cooked so much food for us!! It was absolutely delicious. They made curry rice, yakisoba with beef, yakisoba with shrimp and octopus (YES I ATE OCTOPUS! :-P), grilled salmon, grilled steak, chicken, soy beans, corn on the cob, grilled vegetables... It was all sooooo good!!! Probably the best food I've had since coming to Japan. Seriously I think I've eaten something different every day since I've been here. It's amazing!!!
After the bbq, I went to Kouta's place to have my first DJ lesson. I thought it would be really difficult at first because Kouta doesn't speak any English.. but I was able to learn just fine.. PLUS most of the words were just English words pronounced with a Japanese accent... I learned how to match the beats up so that I can switch from one record to another... It took me a while to match them up.. but I did... That's one step I suppose.. I can learn how to add all the other stuff in later.. Then Kouta and I watched Memento and the Coldplay concert on DVD. He's so talented... He plays guitar and DJs hip hop AND drum and bass. I can't wait for my next lesson!!
Here's a pic of him and pics from the bbq:
